CRIM representative to serve on the Organizing Committee of the 2009 Tremblant Venture Forum

CRIM intends to use this major Eastern Canadian venture capital event as a catalyst
for financing small businesses and IT startups in Québec

Montreal, Quebec, March 12, 2009 – Denis Roy, Vice-President, Business Development of Centre de recherche informatique de Montréal (CRIM), has been appointed to the Organizing Committee of the 2009 Tremblant Venture Forum. CRIM's presence will help secure financing for the most promising small businesses and startups in the IT sector, and will contribute to the success of this major event.

According to Mr. Roy, "The 2009 Tremblant Venture Forum is an outstanding financing platform for emerging and innovative companies in Quebec, Ontario and the Maritimes. This event will bring together leading venture capital investors in Eastern Canada, as well as representatives of various American funds. As a member of the organizing committee, I will be seeking to facilitate access to venture capital for Quebec-based IT companies."

Claude Lemay, President of the 2009 Tremblant Venture Forum, said: "Thanks to CRIM's extensive network and knowledge of cutting-edge IT developments in Québec over the past 20 years, we will be able to identify the companies that offer the best investment prospects."
