Operating out of offices in Santa Clara, Tokyo and Montreal, Entrepia Ventures has a proven and repeatable model for value creation, called “JapanLINK”, that is centered on investing in early and expansion-stage companies, principally in the information technology and technology related industries, that stand to benefit from market or technology affiliation with Japan. JapanLINK enables North American portfolio companies to take advantage of Japan’s large markets and advanced technology. Accessing and penetrating Japanese corporate customers and the large markets they serve globally can be highly lucrative, but involves overcoming significant entry barriers and execution challenges. Through its partners and long-standing relationships, Entrepia helps its portfolio companies overcome these challenges, develop international business and generate incremental top-line growth to become more competitive, successful and valuable. Entrepia was among the first U.S. – based venture capital funds to establish an office in Montreal in 2003 and is an active member of the Quebec venture community.
